115 – Really Posting Again
Wow, it has been almost a month since I have posted to this blog. I have been taking a few images. The spring flowers have not been as vivid here as they were last spring. My guess is that we have not had as much rain in April and so far in May. Here is a flower image I like and one of a granddaughter playing soccer.
114 – Posting again
It has been over a month since I have posted any photos. My good wife and I spent most of March in Florida and on a cruise that left from Fort Lauderdale. I took about 1900 images of our trip and spent almost two weeks sorting and editing. The images are here. It was a great trip. This is my favorite capture from the trip. The Princess Ruby is docked in Antigua. In the back to Maryland department, we went to the Great Falls National Park to look at the ragging Potomac River. It was certainly doing its thing.
113 – Something Different
I often find myself taking photos of ceilings. The light patterns and light fixtures are often interesting. The first is from Union Station and the second is from a small restaurant.
112 – Dug Out
We are pretty much dug out from the snow. The runways at local airports were clear so we headed into the sky on Sunday.
111 – Almost back to Normal
The drive is plowed, we are freed. A nice warm fire in the fire place. Not bad.
110 – Boring
The photo for today is pretty much the same as the past few days. This is getting pretty old and then some. At least we haven’t lost our electric power, and really have had no problems with the snow. There is some cabin fever setting in, however.
109 – Snow (Continued)
Hooray! It’s snowing again. This time we are only supposed to get 20 inches.
108 – Snow (Continued)
Views of our driveway and snow covered trees today. At least the sun was out, but it was only in the low 20s, and there wasn’t any melting.
107 – Repeat
We have seen this too often this winter. There is about 30 inches there. We are not moving for several more days.
106 – After the Snow
There were only a couple of inches of snow at the airport today, but the shady sides of the wings were covered with ice. Even with a lot of brushing it didn’t melt in time for a flight. The helicopter did a good job as a snow blower, however.
